JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Real Estate Capital business capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid setting, either in Brooklyn, Ohio or Overland Park, KS, with the potential for a temp-to-hire position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain clean, testable code for various projects.
  • Resolve system and client experience issues across multiple platforms and applications.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in banking and technology to enhance your expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with information security standards during code development.
  • Participate in testing and evaluating new technologies to improve our processes.
  • Utilize technical documentation and project artifacts effectively in your work.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and SQL programming logic.
  • Understanding of .Net, VB, SQL, and C# programming languages.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in commercial lending and the loan lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
  • Experience with geographically diverse teams and cloud architecture.
  • Knowledge of Crystal Report, Tableau, and PowerBI development.
