Responsibilities

• Lead the development of data mapping details from source systems to target data marts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive mapping documents and conduct unit testing on datasets.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to their professional growth through training and guidance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
• Provide technical recommendations and insights on new data solutions while adhering to best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and project artifacts.
• Engage in collaborative sessions to review mapping and data architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Skills

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in data analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Big Query.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on detail and quality.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, particularly in AML or Fraud analysis.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Ab Initio.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
