Responsibilities
- Lead the development of data mapping details from source systems to target data marts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive mapping documents and conduct unit testing on datasets.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to their professional growth through training and guidance.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
- Provide technical recommendations and insights on new data solutions while adhering to best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and project artifacts.
- Engage in collaborative sessions to review mapping and data architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Skills
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Big Query.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on detail and quality.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry, particularly in AML or Fraud analysis.
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as Ab Initio.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
