JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Lead UX Designer, where you'll collaborate with clients to create innovative, user-centered designs that enhance the user experience. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior designers, and contribute to a culture of design excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive user experience strategy based on thorough research and business objectives.
  • Lead discovery activities such as workshops and user research with minimal oversight.
  • Create essential deliverables, including personas, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Conduct user testing and champion accessibility best practices.
  • Present design solutions and research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in new business development efforts, including client pitches and proposals.

Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in UX design, particularly within a digital-first agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of human factors and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma and usability testing software.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in responsive and mobile design, as well as design systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of UX projects, including research and strategy work.
