JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented AWS Data Engineer to join our innovative team, where you'll develop scalable AWS native platforms and data layers. This hybrid role offers flexibility and the chance to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to support data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for data management.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in Python for data engineering tasks.
  • Proven experience with AWS services like S3, Glue, and Athena.
  • Ability to design and implement lakehouse architectures.
  • Experience with data layer implementation and SCD Type 2 strategies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS Quicksights, Tableau, or Cognos.
  • Familiarity with EKS-based orchestration using EMR on EKS or Argo Workflows.
  • Understanding of Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Apache Hudi.
