|Job ID 71647|Posted Sep 12, 2025Join our dynamic team as a Systems Engineer III, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing and automating IT systems to support our mission of fostering economic stability. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work both on-site in Kansas City and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the eBusiness engineering team to streamline and automate Authentication, Authorization, Web Gateway, and API services.
- Design and develop code for Access Management Services to enhance automation processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve existing processes and create new automated health checks to reduce manual tasks and errors.
- Integrate system monitoring for auto incident creation and self-healing based on environmental health.
- Enable "no touch deployment" to expedite time to market and streamline work intake requests.
Skills
- Proficiency in Ansible Tower, GitLab, Python, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with Shell scripting, Identity and Access Management Systems (IAM), and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, and Argo CD.
- Agile methodology experience.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of modern authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
- Experience with IBM Security products and SQL.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, ServiceNow, and RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Understanding of Ansible Automation Hub, Ansible Galaxy, and Nexus.
