JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Database Administrator where you'll play a crucial role in optimizing and managing database systems in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position offers a hybrid work model with a blend of onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and enhance SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle/Exadata settings.
  • Monitor database performance, focusing on memory usage, backups, and session activity.
  • Collaborate with data architects to design and maintain database schemas and roles.
  • Coordinate with the automation team for database scheduling.
  • Develop scripts for database processing and monitoring.
  • Participate in team meetings and adhere to standard DBA practices.
  • Document DBA processes and maintain runbooks.
  • Manage centralized database operations at the Container Database level.
  • Implement security policies and manage resources in a Multitenant environment.

Skills

  • Over 3 years of experience as a physical DBA, working with Oracle, SQL Server, and more.
  • Proficient in Database Data Movement and Processing.
  • Experience with tools like Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to work.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Hadoop or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) methodologies and tools.
  • Cloud experience is an advantage.
