Responsibilities
- Lead strategic migrations and optimize CI/CD workflows
- Manage and modernize the automation ecosystem using GitLab, Ansible Automation Platform, and Terraform
- Configure and manage GitLab Runners, Groups, Projects, and Permissions
- Design, implement, and optimize complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with application teams to integrate GitLab workflows and best practices
- Develop and maintain runbooks, wiki pages, and pipeline templates
- Integrate monitoring tools for GitLab health and pipeline performance
- Ensure code quality, compliance, and security through policies and guardrails
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for CI/CD or migration-related incidents
Skills
- Extensive experience in administering complex applications and tools
- Proficiency with GitLab, Artifactory, Xray, and SonarQube
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience with SCM tools like JFrog Artifactory, BitBucket, GIT, SVN
Preferred Skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- GitLab Certified Administrator
- Experience with Agile, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD) practices
