JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and support efforts for cloud service providers, ensuring efficient automation and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with project teams to modernize applications and facilitate cloud migrations.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicate complex technical issues effectively and provide comprehensive documentation and training.
  • Engage in multiple projects simultaneously, applying strong analytical skills to deliver results.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cloud administration, particularly with AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud.
  • Expertise in containerized applications and microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab and automated deployment tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes for application management.
  • Knowledge of SSL certificates and networking topics such as protocols and firewalls.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Insight into industry-leading standards and emerging technologies.
  • Skills in monitoring and logging using tools like Dynatrace and QRadar.
