This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with business goals and are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects by defining scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report financials to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct regular status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including charters and change requests.
- Conduct project post-mortems to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Seven years of IT project management experience in a private, public, or military environment.
- PMP® certification or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing infrastructure or cybersecurity projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse teams globally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software like MS Project.
