JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Sr. Full Stack Developer, where you'll play a pivotal role in creating efficient software solutions and driving innovation. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a blend of on-site and remote work opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software solutions using Java, C#, Python, and .Net.
  • Enhance and transition applications to AWS, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Create and maintain industry-standard APIs, focusing on connectivity protocols and policy adherence.
  • Implement architecture patterns optimized for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Promote software craftsmanship by leading code reviews and advocating for best practices in TDD/BDD and Test Automation.
  • Drive performance improvements through monitoring and problem-solving strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and privacy regulations during development.
  • Participate actively in Agile development activities, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Provide on-call support as part of a 24/7 rotation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Angular, with a solid understanding of AWS and API Gateway.
  • Experience with REST API, XML, JSON, and tools like Postman and SQL Developer.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical information.
  • Capability to thrive in high-stress environments and tackle challenges outside of comfort zones.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Experience with OpenShift and MQ is a plus.
  • AWS Certification and DevOps experience are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and HP-UX operating systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in the airline industry is a bonus.
