JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a SOAR Developer, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing cybersecurity operations by automating processes and developing custom applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the modernization of security operations.

Responsibilities

  • Automate security incident response processes to streamline alert analysis and resolution.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications to improve SOC workflows.
  • Collaborate on process development and improvement, including creating and modifying SOPs and playbooks.
  • Integrate the SOAR platform with other security tools to execute automated workflows effectively.
  • Design and maintain efficient Python, JavaScript, and JSON code for automation scripts and workflows.
  • Work with system administrators to manage service accounts and permissions.
  • Mentor and train team members on SOC processes and frameworks.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, particularly in SOC or network security roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python scripting and working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with SOAR platforms like Swimlane, Phantom, or XSOAR.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain SOAR systems effectively.
  • Demonstrated investigative mindset with problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SIEMs such as Splunk or QRadar.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio and working in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Experience in authoring SOC SOPs, playbooks, and process documents.
