JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as an API Product Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and technology teams. This is an opportunity to lead API projects and drive innovation in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into user stories and API specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between business partners and engineering teams to ensure collaborative goal achievement.
  • Develop and manage user personas and brainstorm new API concepts.
  • Oversee the API development process, ensuring adherence to standards and design principles.
  • Collaborate with various teams to create and validate business-critical use cases.
  • Manage the API backlog and prioritize initiatives based on data and user feedback.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and oversee API performance and scalability improvements.

Skills

  • Proven experience in product management and API design.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful concepts and JSON.
  • Experience managing financial technology products.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in designing, testing, or supporting APIs.
  • Technical writing and wireframing experience.
  • Familiarity with Apigee and comfort presenting complex information to leadership.
