JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Jr. IT Technical Writer, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our IT asset management processes. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, with a preference for candidates near Austin or Minneapolis.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and document IT asset management processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Create and maintain detailed process maps using BPM tools to visualize workflows.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and process documentation aligned with industry standards.
  • Work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and compliance teams to gather requirements and validate processes.
  • Ensure all processes align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support system integration efforts by aligning process maps with system workflows.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management or Business Process Analysis.
  • Proficiency in business process mapping tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Strong understanding of ITAM frameworks such as ITIL or ISO 19770.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ITSM/ITAM platforms like ServiceNow or Flexera.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
