Responsibilities
- Lead release planning and ensure clarity of requirements across multiple project streams.
- Manage risks and resolve challenges that may affect project scope, quality, and schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with teams working on interrelated processes.
- Oversee the development and deployment of deliverables into production environments.
- Measure and monitor project progress to ensure timely releases within budget and quality standards.
- Communicate essential release plans and updates to business teams effectively.
- Produce deployment, implementation, and operational documentation as needed.
- Facilitate release readiness and milestone reviews.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, particularly in release management.
- Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and MS Visio.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Integrated Eligibility projects and Medicaid agency management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
- Client-facing experience with a focus on building collaborative relationships.
