JOB DESCRIPTION

Join us as a Sr. IT Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping cybersecurity policies and standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements. This remote position offers a dynamic environment for policy analysis and technical writing.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and map existing policies to ensure they align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and address gaps in current policies, creating processes for new policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate policy requirements.
  • Support change management processes for policy and standard updates.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.
  • Create and maintain cybersecurity documentation and knowledge articles.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and policy lifecycle management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical language.
  • Analytical thinking to assess policy gaps and align documentation with strategic goals.
  • Detail-oriented approach ensuring high accuracy in documentation and gap analysis.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cybersecurity regulations such as NIST 800-53 and NIST CSF.
  • Technical writing expertise to draft clear and digestible policies.
  • Ability to partner with security teams to ensure accuracy in technical content.
