JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) III to join our dynamic team for an exciting 18-month project. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, supporting critical database operations across various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Provide high-level technical support, including incident resolution and troubleshooting for complex database configurations.
  • Participate in strategic planning and database architecture, making recommendations based on functional and business requirements.
  • Assist users with the transition and implementation of new systems and programs.
  • Engage in project activities, providing technical assistance and adhering to established standards and procedures.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with Oracle databases, particularly Oracle 19c, and operational support.
  • Strong knowledge of AIX/Linux systems and networking.
  • Proficiency in using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and patching.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Clusterware (CRS) concepts and administration.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, especially AWS.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
