JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Principal Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while making a significant impact in the healthcare data landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic goals for data architecture in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives in data modeling and data movement to enhance data warehouse architecture.
  • Create comprehensive designs that translate logical models into physical databases.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards concerning data security.
  • Oversee data mapping, movement, and analytics to maintain data quality.
  • Document data architecture to support a scalable environment for future analytical needs.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and escalate issues as necessary.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in data modeling and strategy development for complex healthcare systems.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and other healthcare data security standards.
  • Expertise in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
  • Solid experience in data governance, profiling, and quality management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Snowflake DBMS.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Background in Medicaid and Medicare data sets.
  • Experience with Erwin data modeler.
