Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for demand and capacity, collaborating with delivery managers and planning leads to identify resource needs.
- Evaluate current planning methods and introduce structured frameworks for forecasting and tracking demand.
- Organize alignment sessions with technical teams and leadership to gather progress updates and translate them into actionable entries.
- Conduct discovery and validation processes to develop a comprehensive understanding of team capacity.
- Provide consultative recommendations when teams struggle with current demand practices.
- Identify and address data quality issues, working with analysts and stakeholders across various areas.
- Use storytelling and data interpretation to connect delivery activities with planning insights.
- Support planning decisions by escalating risks and identifying bottlenecks.
- Contribute to governance efforts by maintaining data integrity and promoting best practices in capacity planning.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in demand management, resource planning, or business analysis.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities, capable of engaging resistant teams.
- Proven experience in introducing new planning frameworks in uncertain environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize incomplete data into recommendations.
- Experience in translating informal information into structured planning artifacts.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management or similar tools.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or clinical IT settings.
- Familiarity with Agile coaching principles and resource portfolio governance.
