JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as an Associate Desktop Support Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional desktop support services. This 10-month opportunity offers a chance to showcase your technical expertise and customer service skills in a large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver top-notch desktop support services, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  • Manage service requests efficiently to ensure business functionality is maintained within service level agreements.
  • Provide Level 3 support and resolve technical problems or escalate to the appropriate team for resolution.
  • Document problem resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in executive presentations and support, ensuring seamless use of media-based tools and technology.
  • Perform maintenance and lifecycle management of PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Travel locally and regionally to provide support and deploy hardware/software to remote offices and clinics.
  • Create and deliver bi-weekly reports to management, detailing support activities and progress.

Skills

  • Technical degree in computer science or related field, or relevant certifications with substantial experience in desktop support.
  • Strong understanding of workstation hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and resolve issues promptly.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • A+ Certification and experience with Macintosh systems are advantageous.
