We are seeking a skilled Databricks Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to design and optimize data solutions that support critical investment banking workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on the Databricks platform to integrate various financial data sources.
  
• Automate data cleansing and normalization processes to ensure accuracy in reporting and deal execution.
  
• Manage Databricks clusters and job scheduling while optimizing performance and ensuring high availability.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize analytics and provide insights for investment banking activities.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory data obligations and adhere to data governance policies.
  

Skills

• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and distributed data engineering techniques.
  
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake and job orchestration.
  
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure experience.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
  
• Experience integrating financial datasets and understanding investment banking workflows.
  
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering insights in high-pressure environments.
