JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Senior IT Project Manager, where you'll lead transformative projects in a fully remote setting. This role offers the opportunity to drive solution delivery excellence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project delivery from planning through execution, ensuring successful cutover and support phases.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Oversee multiple project teams and third-party implementors to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control project progress to ensure efficient program delivery, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to executive management and stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Conduct quality reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage project budget and schedule commitments, ensuring delivery within constraints.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver program KPIs to align with strategic enterprise objectives.
  • Implement best practices for portfolio, program, and project management, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Skills

  • 10+ years of IT project management experience with a focus on stakeholder interaction.
  • Experience in managing scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with data platforms.
  • Completed 4-year degree is required.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Project and Portfolio Management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in change management, risk management, and embedding PM disciplines in an organization.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to negotiate priorities across stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Proven situational leadership and emotional intelligence.
