JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Account Executive in the Federal Marketplace, where you'll leverage your expertise to expand our reach with federal agencies and prime contractors. This role is perfect for a self-directed professional with a strategic approach to deal sourcing and development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a consultative sales process tailored to the needs of federal agencies and prime contractors.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans targeting federal departments and large prime contractors.
  • Independently source, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with federal stakeholders and procurement officers.
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Navigate complex procurement cycles with a disciplined sales approach.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and solutions consulting teams for technical credibility.
  • Manage pipeline, forecast opportunities, and document activities in Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the federal buyer journey.

Skills

  • Proven experience in selling complex enterprise SaaS or workflow software.
  • Successful track record in selling to federal agencies or large prime contractors.
  • Ability to source and close significant deals in a multi-stakeholder sales process.
  • Understanding of federal acquisition processes and compliance needs.
  • Strong prospecting, territory planning, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with FedRAMP, ATOs, and contracting strategies.
  • Well-developed network within the federal and prime-contractor ecosystem.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
