Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of monthly income distributions and financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform intercompany cash clearing and quarterly capital funding reconciliations.
- Collaborate with various departments to support audit and tax compliance activities.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in capital accounts and partner equity transactions.
- Contribute to process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency in accounting workflows.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
- Support special accounting projects and assignments as required.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment accounting, fund accounting, or real estate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of partnership accounting and capital reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with real estate investments or private equity funds.
- Familiarity with tax reporting requirements for partnerships and LLCs.
- CPA certification or progress towards certification is advantageous.
