JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Python Software Engineer, where you'll lead the transformation of backend systems and contribute to innovative digital solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely, focusing on developing and maintaining cutting-edge web APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of web API backends using FastAPI for digital products.
  • Ensure high-quality microservices to support digital platforms.
  • Implement and uphold coding standards for a robust development environment.
  • Oversee containerized hosting platforms on AWS and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate actively in feature development discussions and work prioritization.
  • Foster innovative coding practices with a focus on AI coding agents.

Skills

  • Proven experience in developing web APIs with FastAPI.
  • Strong understanding of web security best practices.
  • Proficiency with Python ORM tools like SQLAlchemy and Postgres.
  • Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with secure application containerization using Docker.
  • Knowledge of deploying applications in Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS for application deployment.
