JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced API Product Manager to bridge the gap between business and technology teams. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance customer experience through API development.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into user stories and API specifications using the Swagger framework.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to validate critical use cases.
  • Manage the API backlog and prioritize feature requests based on user feedback and data analysis.
  • Oversee the API development process to ensure adherence to established standards and security protocols.
  • Track API performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective team communication.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive API documentation for various stakeholders.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with APIs and understanding RESTful concepts.
  • 3+ years of experience managing financial technology products.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Confluence, MS Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in designing, programming, or supporting APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Technical writing experience for API documentation.
  • Excellent presentation skills, especially in conveying complex information to leadership.
