We are seeking a skilled Senior API Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects while contributing to the development of scalable web applications and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a distributed remote team to design and implement robust APIs and web applications.
• Establish and uphold best practices for code quality and review processes.
• Enhance product development by introducing new features while minimizing regressions.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
• Communicate progress and challenges effectively throughout the development lifecycle.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Proficient in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
• Strong backend programming skills, particularly in building microservices and RESTful services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with database design and optimization, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to mobile app development and Canva templates/APIs.
