JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Depot Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment management and support processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee equipment requisition fulfillment to meet business needs, including new hire setups and termination arrangements.
  • Validate and procure equipment based on availability and collaborate with procurement for additional needs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure readiness for audits by following established procedures.
  • Participate in hardware audits and troubleshoot hardware and software issues as needed.
  • Prepare, configure, and test equipment for deployment, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Package and ship equipment efficiently while adhering to company policies.
  • Lead the disposal of end-of-life equipment in compliance with environmental regulations.

Skills

  • Proven experience with Windows 10, Windows 11, and MacOS X operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and related technologies.
  • Strong technical understanding of laptop and desktop hardware and peripherals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PowerShell, ServiceNow, and Windows Deployment Toolkit.
  • A+ certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and work independently or as part of a team.
