This role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives, set deadlines, and prepare insightful reports for management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and analyze the Intermodal and Freight program on the load platform.
- Oversee execution and provide strategic insights to enhance delivery goals.
- Set deadlines and assign responsibilities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and summarize progress, preparing reports for upper management.
- Plan and accomplish goals to secure capacity for customer needs at the lowest cost.
- Utilize creativity and judgment to perform a variety of tasks efficiently.
- Pull data and insights from the work preformed on the platform
- Look at different strategy initiatives, come up with recommendations and interact with customer teams
- Create reporting using query pulls SQL and Quick Sight, Excel and Pivots
- Engage with customer teams to gather requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 2-4 years of experience in program or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in logistics or supply chain concepts.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed and insightful reports.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with a variety of logistics practices and procedures.
- Experience in securing capacity at optimal costs.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a wide degree of latitude in decision making.
