JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Housing & Registration Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing and streamlining the registration and housing processes for major events. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to successful and memorable events.

This is a Remote opportunity for candidates located in Maryland, Virginia, or the Washington DC area. Up to 30% travel is required to support on-site event registration as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the registration and housing processes for events, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage databases, maintain up-to-date information, and coordinate logistics for housing arrangements.
  • Respond to attendee inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with on-site registration support and collaborate with teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Generate and reconcile reports related to attendance, workshops, and financials.
  • Participate in pre-production planning and post-event activities, including processing refunds and entering registrations.

Skills

  • Proven experience in data entry, customer service, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other business software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdepartmental teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Association Management Systems, CRM, or project management software like Asana.
  • Previous project management experience and ability to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Experience in a similar role within a large-scale event setting.
