JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, contributing to the development of commercially viable product designs in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative designs that align with business strategies and brand direction.
  • Research fashion trends and consumer needs to ensure product lines are relevant and appealing.
  • Develop detailed tech packs and specifications for new products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process.
  • Present design concepts to team leaders and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
  • Maintain accurate linesheets and ensure all design information is up-to-date.
  • Mentor and inspire junior design talent within the team.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field.
  • 3+ years of design experience in a retail or fashion environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to create original design sketches.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Centric or similar product development software.
  • Knowledge of apparel construction and fabric selection.
  • Ability to adapt designs based on feedback and market trends.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
