JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Senior Sitecore / .NET Web Developer to join our dynamic Digital Web Development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance user experiences across multiple platforms while collaborating with a diverse group of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Owners and IT teams to design, develop, and maintain critical web applications.
  • Lead mid-sized website enhancement projects, utilizing Sitecore’s capabilities to drive engagement.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to development methodologies and processes.
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and architects to deliver forward-thinking solutions.
  • Develop complex features using modern tools and frameworks, including Sitecore XM Cloud and React.js.
  • Continuously optimize application performance and user experience.

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in modern web development.
  • Proven experience leading development projects through the full lifecycle.
  • Strong system design and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in Sitecore CMS development, including modular development using Helix principles.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as Bitbucket/GIT.
  • Experience writing integration and unit tests.
  • Agile/SCRUM development experience.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in the Life Insurance or Financial Services industry.
  • Experience building high-volume, mission-critical production systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
