Client is seeking a ?AEM Software Engineer to develop websites on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites platform. They are currently undergoing a migration that will move Company website, a site that sees ~2 billion sessions per year, to the AEM platform. They are using AEM 6.5 in an AWS managed services model. Websites delivered out of AEM will follow a React headless model, leveraging AEM Single Page Application (SPA) editor.
A strong candidate for this role should have the following skills:
- Experience building AEM Sites components using Sling models and HTL
- Experience with the Apache Sling framework
- Experience building OSGi services and components
- Experience creating and extending Client Libraries
- Knowledge of Java Content Repository (JCR) and Oak indexing
- Experience with headless website implementations
- Understand of common development practices using Git and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have:
- Experience with AEM Universal Editor is a major plus
- Experience with Docker/Podman is a major plus
