JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to join our team, focusing on API Product Management. This role offers the opportunity to bridge the gap between technology and business, driving innovation in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into user stories and API specifications using the Swagger framework.
  • Act as a liaison between Line of Business partners and Engineering teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to validate business-critical use cases.
  • Manage the API backlog, prioritizing feature requests and bug fixes based on user feedback and data analysis.
  • Oversee the development process, ensuring adherence to established standards and design principles.
  • Track API performance and work with engineering teams to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Own all API documentation, ensuring it is comprehensive and accessible for developer support.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with APIs and understanding RESTful concepts.
  • 3+ years of experience managing financial technology products.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in collaboration tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in designing, programming, testing, or supporting APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Technical writing experience to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Wireframing experience and knowledge of Apigee.
