JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Data Analyst, working remotely to drive critical business decisions through robust data solutions. This role offers an opportunity to influence data mapping and modeling, contributing to essential enterprise data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data mapping from source systems to target data assets, ensuring accurate transformation and storage.
  • Develop and test datasets by translating business requirements into detailed mapping documents.
  • Collaborate with various teams to drive design and development based on given requirements.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to mapping and data architecture sessions.
  • Provide status updates and work estimates to project managers and management.
  • Mentor and train less experienced analysts, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and project artifacts for data solutions development.

Skills

  • Proficient in data mapping and modeling with strong experience in SQL, SAS, and Python.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Big Query.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex data insights.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AbInitio or AbInitio SpecToGraph.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Understanding of risk management practices in financial institutions.
