JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Governance Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity and compliance. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive impactful data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of data governance program deliverables.
  • Evaluate and challenge remediation plans to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Verify and address data-related issues to confirm effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to analyze root causes and ensure sustainability of fixes.
  • Assess data-related risks and evaluate associated controls for effectiveness.
  • Support risk assessments and control testing activities as needed.
  • Calculate and review key data risk and control metrics for accuracy.

Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data management, technology risk, or cyber risk management.
  • Proven experience in data governance or second-line risk functions within financial services.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) framework.
  • Certifications such as DCAM, CISSP, CISA, or CRISC.
  • Experience working with mid to large-sized financial institutions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
