JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Senior Cloud Engineer and lead the way in designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you'll be at the forefront of integrating mission-critical applications into public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and design expertise for cloud integration projects.
  • Define standards and patterns for leveraging cloud services efficiently.
  • Automate cloud integration processes and tasks to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop frameworks and tools to enable development teams to utilize authorized cloud services.
  • Collaborate with the DevTools team to develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure Security-by-Design principles are applied to all cloud applications.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of internal knowledge resources.
  • Mentor engineering staff on cloud integration design and best practices.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in designing large-scale cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure as code tools.
  • Strong coding skills in languages such as Java and Python.
  • Ability to implement logging and monitoring solutions effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS certifications such as DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of data streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
