JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Applications Support Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of developing and supporting cutting-edge applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support multiple applications and platforms with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct hands-on development, root cause analysis, and defect resolution to maintain system reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards in code development and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance performance and scalability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  • Stay informed about new application features and best practices, recommending suitable adoption strategies.
  • Document technical specifications, create architecture diagrams, and maintain project artifacts.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in application development or support, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC, with 7-10 years in Java/JEE applications.
  • Proficiency in full stack technologies like HTML, JavaScript, Angular, and microservices frameworks.
  • Experience with GIT and GIT Workflows, demonstrating familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with additional frameworks such as Hibernate, Junit, Maven, and SOAP/Rest APIs.
  • Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring system scalability and reliability.
