JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a UI/UX Software Developer, where you'll take charge of creating engaging user interfaces while collaborating with a cross-functional team. This role offers the chance to work in a hybrid environment, providing the perfect blend of flexibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of user interfaces to deliver seamless and polished user experiences.
  • Craft web UIs focusing on layout, interaction, and accessibility best practices.
  • Collaborate with backend and full stack engineers to integrate UI components with core business logic.
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles within the development team.
  • Transform Figma prototypes into functional UI code, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with UX designers to refine design decisions and bridge any gaps.
  • Contribute to and utilize the in-house design system for UI components.
  • Optimize and refactor existing user interfaces for improved performance.

Skills

  • Over 5 years of experience in UI development or as a hybrid designer/developer.
  • Expertise in CSS, including flexbox, grid layout, and advanced CSS techniques.
  • Proficiency in HTML and understanding of semantic structures and accessibility.
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks, preferably Angular 2+ with TypeScript and JavaScript ES6.
  • Familiarity with Git, NPM, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles.
  • Ability to think creatively as both a designer and developer.
