Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects.
- Contribute to coding, reviewing, and debugging as a hands-on leader.
- Oversee sprint planning, backlog management, and daily standups to maintain project momentum.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system uptime and operational readiness.
- Act as the main escalation point for technical issues and blockers.
- Encourage continuous improvement in development practices and system architecture.
Skills
- Extensive experience in software development with expertise in React, Node.js, and SQL-based databases.
- Proven leadership experience managing and guiding technical teams.
- Strong understanding of deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to ensure secure development practices within regulatory frameworks.
Preferred Skills
- Background in financial services, particularly in banking or fintech environments.
- Experience in mentoring junior developers and leading agile teams.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices.
