We’re looking for a curious, connected and committed Art Director with strong conceptual thinking and impeccable design
execution, to join our Industry Creative team. This is an opportunity to shape how Amazon Music shows up across our
channels and content—while learning and growing in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The Role
As an Art Director on the Amazon Music Industry Creative team, you’ll create visually compelling static and motion assets that
bring our live music events and other content to life. You’ll work alongside strategists, creative directors, and other art directors
to turn ideas into expressive and on brand visuals. You’ll be encouraged to explore new approaches, welcome feedback as
fuel for growth, and constantly evolve your craft in alignment with Amazon’s customer-obsessed ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Design high-quality visuals at scale for live music events across digital, social, in-app, email, and owned channels.
Concept and execute short motion graphics pieces for social and out-of-home placements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts that align with brand and business objectives.
Iterate based on performance insights and stakeholder feedback.
Stay current on design and motion trends and pop culture.
Basic Qualifications
3-6 years of design experience in marketing, advertising, or creative content production.
Strong understanding of motion concepts and techniques.
Proficiency in Figma, Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator), and Canva.
Strong portfolio showcasing visually consistent and strategically sounds creative work across channels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt on the fly.
Ability to work efficiently and quickly without sacrificing quality and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English.
Must haves: 3-6 years of exp. Not brand new at graphic design. doesn’t need someone with 10 yrs experience.
Solid design experience
Want motion experience- visual designer in strong skillset in motion as well.
This team doesn’t have a lot of motion support, that is something they are looking to add with this role.
Motion experience is secondary to graphic design. Art director or graphic designer previous job titlea.
Extra credit
Comfortable exploring AI tools and other emerging technologies in the creative process.
Basic audio editing and production.
Tools: Adobe After Effects. Figma is important. Adobe Creative Suite. PORTFOLIO CRITICAL.
Degree/certification: Bachelors: required.
Leadership Principles: Bias for action, insist on highest standards.
Performance indicators: not specifically. Have a festival coming up to design for and cover 200 assets
