Senior Principal UX Designer(141278-1) 
12 + Month Contract

Prime Video, a global entertainment service, launched an ad-supported tier in January 2024 and has since expanded to 13 countries. The company aims to be the best ad-supported streaming service through customer-focused ad experiences and product innovation.
The Ad Tech and Monetization (ATM) UX team, responsible for Prime Video's ad supply, focuses on creating immersive, non-intrusive advertising experiences that enhance content discovery and viewer engagement. The team consists of 5 designers, 1 UX researcher, 1 design technologist, and 1 design program manager.

The Sr. UX Designer role will:

  • Develop innovative advertising strategies for a global audience
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across various departments
  • Work on mobile ad formats, new ad formats for live content, and advertising sponsorship experiences
     
Key responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing customer problems and designing solutions
  • Developing shared visions with product and business partners
  • Partnering with technology teams
  • Presenting designs to leadership
  • Measuring UX innovation effectiveness
Critical leadership principles: Earn Trust, Customer Obsession, and Ownership/Ambiguity experience.
Online portfolio required in addition to resume

Required skills:
  • 7+ years in design industry
  • Experience in living room device design or digital ad design (both is even better)
  • Expert in using Figma, including to prototype 
  • Experience handing off production ready design assets to engineers
  • AI design process experience/interest
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred skills include experience in live event design, multi-device design, design strategy, and visual skills.

Required Skills:
  • Online portfolio of past work
  • Designing for living room devices or designing for digital ads
  • Experience creating prototypes in Figma
  • Experience or interest in using AI in your design process
