JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Designer, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the fit and comfort of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite and collaborate closely with our design team to ensure excellence in every garment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design process from development to final fit, ensuring products meet established quality and comfort standards.
  • Analyze and evaluate garments to develop precise fit specifications and communicate these to vendors and factories for approval and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with design teams to maintain design integrity while monitoring quality and cost specifications.
  • Provide guidance to Assistant or Associate Technical Designers and report to the Technical Services Manager.

Skills

  • Proven experience in technical design, particularly with intimates or apparel, demonstrating expertise in fit and pattern correction.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, Illustrator, and Flex PLM.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with centric training and a solid background in working with various product types.
  • Volunteer or community service experience, showcasing a commitment to giving back.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to new ways of working.
