Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design process from development to final fit, ensuring products meet established quality and comfort standards.
- Analyze and evaluate garments to develop precise fit specifications and communicate these to vendors and factories for approval and adjustments.
- Collaborate with design teams to maintain design integrity while monitoring quality and cost specifications.
- Provide guidance to Assistant or Associate Technical Designers and report to the Technical Services Manager.
Skills
- Proven experience in technical design, particularly with intimates or apparel, demonstrating expertise in fit and pattern correction.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, Illustrator, and Flex PLM.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with centric training and a solid background in working with various product types.
- Volunteer or community service experience, showcasing a commitment to giving back.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to new ways of working.
