JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to create impactful marketing assets and templates that resonate with our audience.
  • Ensure all written content is data-driven, on-brand, and focused on achieving results.
  • Develop a deep understanding of global audiences to craft relevant and engaging messaging.
  • Present creative work to stakeholders, backed by sound reasoning and data.
  • Maintain ownership of copywriting tasks, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals.
  • Partner with various teams to ensure timely and high-quality creative deliverables.
  • Stay informed about trends and topics relevant to key audiences across different regions.
  • Work with external partners, providing constructive feedback to enhance creative outputs.
  • Adhere to legal guidelines while maintaining creative freedom in your writing.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere within the marketing team.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a copywriter in a startup or in-house creative team environment.
  • Strong background in consumer copywriting, with a focus on digital branding.
  • Expertise in email best practices and mobile-first digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills with peers, managers, and executives.
  • Attention to detail and high discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with A/B testing and validation in marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Passion for storytelling, marketing, and understanding diverse cultures.
  • Ability to work in Seattle, WA, or Arlington, VA, with flexibility in working hours.
