As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will lead the effort in delivering high quality candidates for hiring company hiring needs. You will be responsible for advancing the company brand's numerous markets in professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through our selection process. The successful candidate will: Perform full life cycle recruiting by building excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates and the entire business community. You will have the opportunity to exercise a wide degree of creativity in generating new candidate leads, influence the near and long-term recruiting vision and increase your business acumen. Responsibilities Meet with hiring managers to complete intake meetings to ensure an understanding of job duties, job responsibilities, and required/desired skills to ensure timely hiring and robust sourcing strategies that will attract the best and the brightest in our industry Partner with sourcing team members to develop additional candidates via new sourcing strategies for hard to fill roles Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Pre-screen candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques Develop and maintain sound working relationships with leaders and other HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position and career growth Prepare candidates for interviewing with company and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of companies compensation policy and delegation of authority Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
Required Skills and Education • BS and 6 years experience or equivalent experience • Experience in full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, legal/compliance, job analysis, wage and salary trends, and relationship management • Expertise to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions on a national, multi-location level • Skilled at partnering with hiring team to build effective recruiting, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations • Ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities in an applicant tracking system • Ability to generate a high volume/high quality pipeline of candidates under tight timelines while manage competing demands, • Ability to accept constructive feedback • Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills • Ability to maintain confidential information appropriately • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant tracking system
Preferred Skills • Familiarity with Kenexa applicant tracking system • Familiarity with Phenom Candidate Relationship Man(CRM)
Seeking a candidate with full life cycle experience, with attention to detail and open to multiple lines of communication with hiring managers and candidates. Seeking a Specialist with experience handling different types of positions to include Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Engineering and Supply Chain in a DOD environment. Experience working in a remote environment working with hiring managers in several time zones.
