JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as an IT Portfolio Manager, where you will oversee multiple IT projects and collaborate with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio, ensuring successful project outcomes and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage two IT project portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and efficient resource allocation.
  • Coordinate the intake process for new project and funding requests, guiding leaders through business case development and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with portfolio sponsors on annual planning, prioritization, and scenario development to create comprehensive portfolio roadmaps.
  • Monitor ongoing projects, tracking accomplishments, financials, risks, and progress against key milestones.
  • Facilitate monthly portfolio review meetings to discuss project funding, scope, and schedule adjustments.
  • Prepare materials and talking points for monthly executive review meetings, ensuring clear communication of project statuses and strategies.
  • Lead quarterly executive-level IT Steering Board meetings, coordinating the preparation and presentation of materials, and documenting action items.

Skills

  • Proven experience in IT portfolio management, with a track record of managing large-scale projects and investments.
  • Strong ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to executive stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess project progress and identify potential risks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis in an IT context.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
