JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical Oracle E-Business Suite and database environments, contributing to exciting projects in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Oracle Database 19c, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Ensure database security and compliance by applying necessary patches.
  • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of database-related issues.
  • Manage Oracle E-Business Suite environments, including patching and upgrades.
  • Support application cloning and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for proactive monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Document procedures and create architecture diagrams for effective communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Skills

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, particularly with Oracle EBS.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle Database 19c in production environments.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.9, including patching and upgrades.
  • Solid background in Unix (AIX) system administration and scripting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Oracle Data Integrator.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud technologies and Autonomous Database services.
  • Knowledge of audit processes and tools like Audit Vault and Splunk.
