Responsibilities
- Assist users with the installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software to meet their computing needs.
- Upgrade systems to Windows 11 and deploy new machines as replacements.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with computer systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct diagnostic reviews and produce error reports to identify and resolve problems.
- Support projects and policy implementation within the assigned area.
- Provide recommendations and assist users in purchasing necessary hardware and software.
- Manage new computer configurations and coordinate the workstation upgrade process.
- Participate in the deployment of new software platforms and track user requests.
- Verify problem resolution with customers and close cases accordingly.
Skills
- Experience with M365/O365 migrations is essential.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and related terminology.
- Basic problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Good organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow Ticketing system.
- Understanding of Palo Alto VPN application for desktop support.
