|Job ID 70796|Posted Jun 26, 2025Join our team as a Field Service Tech II - Desktop Technician, where you'll support computer users with hardware and software installations and ensure seamless operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work onsite in Endicott, NY, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to keep systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure hardware and software to meet personal computer needs.
- Perform Windows 11 upgrades and deploy new replacement machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with computer systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Contact and assist vendors to resolve technical problems.
- Conduct diagnostic reviews and produce error reports as needed.
- Assist in the design and development of operational management reports.
- Provide hardware and software recommendations and purchasing information to users.
- Participate in the deployment of new software platforms and coordinate workstation upgrades.
- Track user requests and ensure issues are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Skills
- Experience with M365 / O365 migrations is essential.
- Strong ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring computer systems and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of the Palo Alto VPN application as it relates to desktop support.
- Experience with the ServiceNow Ticketing system is a plus.
