Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software scripts and instrumentation interfaces for data collection and analysis.
- Analyze test data to identify failures and drive root cause resolution.
- Conduct failure mode analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product design and manufacturability.
- Optimize production test flows to improve efficiency while ensuring reliability.
- Perform hands-on experiments and hardware debugging to assess system behavior and propose corrective actions.
- Document findings and communicate effectively with engineering and program stakeholders.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software systems development, hardware testing, or production engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.
- Strong background in system-level debugging and test optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C for test automation.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems development and testing.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control and tools like Minitab or JMP.
- Experience in high-reliability manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of commercial test equipment and manufacturing execution systems.
