As the IT Manager, you'd be responsible for the day-to-day operations and infrastructure across multiple facilities, ensuring seamless connectivity, support, and systems integration.
The IT Manager works closely with internal stakeholders, service desk personnel, and a network of external vendors to keep everything running smoothly — from video surveillance to production equipment connectivity and inventory systems.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on tinkering, troubleshooting, and methodically improving IT systems, and thrives in environments where technology and manufacturing intersect.
This is an on-site opportunity and the facilities are located near Bedford Park, IL.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance IT infrastructure, including video surveillance and technology systems.
- Manage and collaborate with various IT vendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement and troubleshoot IT systems to support automation and production processes.
- Coordinate IT activities across multiple locations, including travel to the Broomfield, CO facility and occasional trips to Toronto.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities in IT infrastructure and system management.
- Experience in the manufacturing or automation technology sectors.
- Experience evaluative and working effectively with external IT vendors.
- Familiarity with managing video surveillance and camera systems.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to quality assurance.
- Experience in managing technology infrastructure in automation and production settings.
- Ability to travel and work across different locations, with a valid passport.
